Multifonctional food and production systems : case of periurban food production

SHORT DESCRIPTION: Within the course, students will learn how to: Analyze with a systemic approach different situations of food horticultural activities in a suburban context and their specificities, propose improvements to better exploit the constraints and opportunities for a given peri-urban location; measure the social, economic and technical sustainability of periurban food horticulture compared with other systems, develop a wide analysis of a territory on flows (information, products, trade) integrating periurban activities and production centers
